These days, it seems there’s so much change and regeneration in Newham that it can be hard to keep track!

  • High speed railway from Liverpool Street station to Shenfield (NE) and Abbey Wood (SE)
  • New interchanges at Stratford, Maryland, Forest Gate, and Manor Park, and Custom House on the SE branch

  • Trains have air-con and wifi, but concerns over number of seats per train – only ⅓ passengers will be able to sit on full journeys
